Directions to park: From Lander to Pinnedale, this 90 mile mountain range in West Central Wyoming extends for 90 miles in a northwest to south east direction. A few selected areas are shown here. Sixteen different redheads leading to various wilderness trails. On the west side the most popular are: Green River, Elkhart, and Big Sandy. On the side, Trail Lake Ranch, Dickenson Park, and Sinks Canyon are most popular. Most approaches are long and arduous affairs. A myriad of granite peaks and walls provide classic alpine routes.
