Directions to park: From Baraboo, go 3 miles south on highway 12 following signs to south shore of Devil's Lake. This is the most popular crag for Chicago climbers. The Five main areas are:
1.West Bluffs: On the park road just west from the south shore beach and concession stands, a trial leads north to the West Bluff.
2. Railroad Tracks and Watermarks Wall: From south shore concession, hike north on railroad tracks to side trail to Watermarks and further north to railroad tracks Wall.
3. East Bluffs: Park at CCC cabin. Hike north up trail. This is the biggest and most popular crag.
4. Old Sandstone Area: Go 1 mile further east from East Bluffs.
5. New Sandstone Area: Just a bit further east of Old Sandstone Area.
