Directions to park: From Yakima, go north west to Jct highways 410 & 12. Tieton River Area Rock columns extend from 2-20 miles west on highway 12 to Rimrock Lake. Columnar andesitic crack crags along the Tieton River. Several areas will keep craggers busy. One can leave the Washington rains behind in these arid sagelands.
