Directions to park:
Raven's Roost is located along the Blue Ridge Parkway at Milepost 10.7
(between 10 and 11 but closer to 11). There is a parkway overlook at the
top of the cliffs, so park at the overlook and there is an easy walk down
on the south end of the cliffs. Cliffs range in height from 50 to 80 feet.
There is a lot of climbing there but the south end is the best (and easiest
to rig). The descent route to the bottom of the cliffs is sketchy, it's
a class 3 walkdown, maybe even a class 2.
