Directions to park: 257 west the turnoff is a dirt lot after Baughmans auto repair and before the Hone Quarry sign. There is a blue dumpster there and a decent trail. Walk .5-.75 mile the cliffs are uphill and on your right as you walk in. There are 70-80 ft leads on solid sandstone but most of the cliff is 60 feet. You need a lot of webbing for anchors. There is good bouldering across the valley. Please do not park in front of the dumpster. The parking is on private property and is somewhat sensitive. !!! Actually !!! The owner has closed the parking lot. He is not hostile just needs more space for his business. For now park at Hone Quarry and walk, bummer!

NOTE: Hidden Cracks and the areas around them have been impacted to an incredible extent by the climbing community. Large groups have, for years, trampled and hacked and broken the underbrush and trees beneath and atop the cliff. This has occurred to a point beyond belief, for those of us who first came there in the mid-80s and found a green, leafy jungle, out of which the cliff seemed to rise like a temple. Please, walk softly, pack out your trash and a little of someone else's. Keep your pets on leashes, and please don't camp atop or beneath the cliff, or next to the creek. Stay on the trails.
