Directions to park: From Rutland, follow highway 4 for 9 miles. Park at Shelburn Pass, at the top.
Hike towards the north on Long Trail and then follow Deerleap Trail. Cliff is only a few hundred yards.

Camping at Gifford Woods State Park. - - highway 4 east for 2 miles, then north on highway 100 for 1 mile.
