Directions to park: From
Lawton, go 12 miles west on highway 62. At Cache, turn right on highway
115 to highway 49. Turn west on highway 49. The tree major climbing areas
lie south of highway 49 if the following order.
- The Narrows
- Elk Mountain Slabs - From Cache, go north on highway 115 for 5.7 miles
to junction with highway 49. Go 5 miles west on highway 49 to park headquarters.
Go south, then west on Indiahoma to Post Oak Lake road. Go north on
Post Oak Lake road 1 mile to parking. Hike 2 miles north. Nice Granite
slabs and even a few hard overhanging cracks!
- Charon Gardens - From Cache,
go north on highway 115 for 5.7 miles to junction with highway 49. Go
west on highway 49 to Sunset Picnic Area, 1 mile west of park headquarters
on far west side of refuge. Hike west on trail to Crab Eyes and Lost
Dome area, about 45 min hike. Hard traditional cracks and some sport
climbs.

- Dorris Campground in Refuge
Lake Latonka. But... Rangers sneak around on foot to catch smokers and
beer drinkers!
- Lake Lawtonka-Best for the
partying types (elec.& prim.sites)and showers...

thing you'll find is "Ryan's" in Lawton maybe cheap, certainly not healthy
