Directions to park:
Take US 64 east from Cashiers, towards Brevard, for 2 miles until you
reach Cedar Creek Rd on the left. Take Cedar Crk Rd for 2.3 miles until
you reach Breedlove Rd on your right. Take Breedlove Road 3.5 miles
to Forest Service
Gate. The last .2 miles is dirt road.
Parking is tight and creative! Walk
down road for about a tenth of a mile and Panthertown Valley will spread
out before you! Big Green is the large granite pluton on the right. Oh,
the smaller granite pluton in the middle foreground is Little Green and
the mountain to the left, with significant granite cliff lines, is Blackrock.
They are waiting for development.
