The Nose Area
Between the Nose and Sundial

Directions to park: From Asheville take 240 west to route 26 toward Hendersonville/airport. Take exit 9 and turn right at the end of the ramp toward the airport. Go past airport and follow for awhile. Next go right at route 276 to the entrance of Pisgah National Forest. Now follow 276 for about 6 miles and then go left toward the fish hatchery. Follow this road past Looking Glass Trail and past the fish hatchery until the paved road changes to gravel. When the road forks, go right and up a little hill.
The South Face area is approx 1 mile to a hairpin turn with stairs leading to the trail head.
The Nose Area is about 3 miles to a small parking area and trail. Make sure to take the trail marked "Sunwall Trail", located just prior to the parking area, to reach The Nose area

 
Camp-sites: Nearly anywhere in the park for free. Climbers camp near the trail head for the south face.

Cheap Healthy Eats: Brevard is close with an assortment of eating options. Stay away from El Chapala.....they recycle food!
