Directions to park: As you head to White rock on state road 4, take the right for (as if going to White Rock) at the Y junction, then continue until you can turn around and head back toward Santa Fe. Drive until the guardrail on the right is replaced by a barbed wire fence set about 20 feet back from the road. Park here. Walk straight south for 50 yards and you are at the rim of the north wall. The best decent is to walk west and downwards on a faint trail until you are in the bottom of the canyon. |
