Directions to park: Directions are to Pinkham Notch Visitors Center. (Check out the cool topo map at the visitors center)
From I-93 take exit 35. Head east on route 3 to 115 NE. Next take a right onto route 2 and follow it to the town of Gorham.
From Gorham go south on route 16 to the Pinkham Notch Visitors Center on the right.

Hazard: Despite its mild altitude (6288 feet) the White Mountain Range is notorious for intense winds, avalanche, severe and quickly changing weather.
NOTE: More people have died on Mt. Washington than K2. Come prepared for the worst...because you'll get it.
