Directions to park: The Main access road to several cliffs is I-93 running through the
Notch.
1. Artist's Bluffs: From the junction of I-93 and highway 18 go north from the Notch to pullout just beyond the junction on the right side
of highway 18. Popular area for beginners.
2. The Eagles Cliff: From Woodstock go north on highway 93. Go east across from the Cannon Mountain Parking lot. Hike about 45 minutes up hill,
difficult trail with carins. Climbing at rock spire.
3. Cannon Cliff ***: From north Woodstock, go 7 miles North on highway 93. Park at Profile Lake Trailhead on left (below Old Man). Sign in there.
Three trails provide access. Lakeview for Slabs, Reppy's for middle of cliff, or Whitney-Gilman for south end. The preferred decent is around the north end.
4. Indian Head: From North Woodstock take highway 93 north a few minutes. Park at Flume Visitor Center south of Franconia Notch. Hike west thru tunnel
under intestate to top of mountain.

Park - Open- Hazards: This is alpine rock climbing. Beware of loose rock, serious route finding.
Weather can always be variable. Climbers are required to sign and out at the same check point.
