Directions to park: From Bartlett go North on highway #302 to Crawford Notch State Park signs. There are several areas within the park:

  • Elephant's Head: Top of the Notch
  • Mount Willard: Top of the Notch, west side. Use parking pullout on west and hike South to base. 800 Foot cliff. Ice in winter.
  • Frankenstein Cliff: Go left to Arethusa Falls. Park at railroad tracks, and hike North up tracks. Turn left before tressel and hike up hill. Keep going past lower cliffs to better rock up high. - Most popular rock and good Ice climbs
  • Crawford Slabs: On the west side of the Notch following the Wester Cliff Trail, bushwhack left after crossing Saco river.
