Directions to park: From Carbondale, go east on highway 13 a short ways. Turn right on Giant City Road (2800 East). Go south until junction with 600 north. Turn left going past north shore of Little Grassy Lake. At junction with 200 east, turn right to highway 215 north. Turn left to Devil Kitchen Lake Loop parking. Rock is at water's edge. Opie's kitchen is on east side of lake in north west sector. You can get there by taking 300 past junction with 200 east to a right turn at Devil's Kitchen camp ground at north end of the lake. Park at Rocky Bluff Parking lot. Across the road from the start of the Rocky Bluff Trail, hike on faint west toward spillway to walk down leading to overhanging traverse wall. Both areas are good boulering areas.
