Directions to park: South Platte is a large granitic wonderland encompassing rock from Pine to Woodland Park on Hwy 87. Areas include: Ding Domes, Bucksnort slabs, squat rock, SPHINX ROCK, banner peak, the dome, Maylay archipelago, Cathedral spires, Noddleheads, Jackson creek areas, Humphry's Dome, Little scraggy dome, Wigwam creek area, Tarryall area, Big Rock candy mountain, Top of the world, Sheep's nose and Turkey rocks. |
