Directions to park: From Bayfield. Go north to Vallecito Lake Reservoir. Turn right onto County Road 603 just before lake. Go north east to Pine River CG and trailhead. Park. Hike 13 miles "all damn day" to where Flint Creek meets Los Pinos River. Hike 2 miles upstream to base of Pope's Nose. |
