Directions to park:

• Ames wall is west of Ophir and west of Hwy 145. Park at a historic power plant, because you can't park right at Ames. Hike south then west onold railroad stones running beneath Ames Wall.
• Ophir Wall: Best crag in Telluride area, just look North, it's right above the post office.

Camp-sites: Free camping on forest service land but be sure you don't wander onto local private land.
