Directions to park: From Idaho Springs, head south for 21 miles on Hwy 5. Park at Chicago Lakes Overlook on the Mt Evans Hwy, near Summit Lake. A white, 700 foot granite wall is visible. The best free climbing is at the Road Warrier Buttress, to get there hike West to Black Wall. |
