Directions to park: From Drake, take highway 34 west. Take a right on Country Road 43. After .3 miles, turn right onto Forest Road 128. Follow that for 2.5 miles, you will come to a "T" in the road, take the left fork. Go 2.6 miles to a "Y" and turn left. Go another 3.6 miles to another "Y" and turn left again. At 5.2 miles you will come to a right hand switchback. There is a parking area 100 yards before switchback. No more parking at switchback .Park and follow the trail out of the uphill side. leaves from here.

Camp-sites: There is free camping off road befor parking area and in the new parking area itself. make sure fires are out.
