State Park, CO
We Need Your Picture

Directions to park: Take Colorado Highway 83 south approximately 5 miles past the intersection with Colorado Highway 86. The entrance is on the right (west). Castlewood Canyon is somewhat of an anomaly on the plains southeast of Denver. An expansive canyon with short cliffs in the 30-60ft. range with a lot of sport, trad, and toproping possibilities. Bouldering has recently been catching on in the last few years too. It is a year-round destinations with some of the warmest south-facing cliffs in the state for winter and shady spots in the trees for the summmer.
