Directions to park:
Two teams of climbers are developing 2 to
3 miles of cliff line near Batesville at 3 separate locales. Located on
public land - Jamestown WMA. Possibly hundreds of sport and trad routes
on Atoka sandstone 30-80 ft. tall. 10 routes documented with one being
added each week. No bolting restrictions. Camping free with a Cherokee
Leased Lands permit: $20 annually. Primitive area. Approaches are via
rough FWD truck trail or 1-2 mile hike. |
