Directions to park: Follow 60 East, through the town of Superior, and up the winding grade of Queen Creek Canyon. At the top of the grade, look for the Magma Mine Road, on the right. Turn here, cross the cattle guard, and curve right down the hill. Pass one dirt road to the left, and turn left at the second, the entrace to Oak Flats Campground. This is also the site of the Phoenix Bouldering contest. or... Top of the World- contionue East on 60, passing through Devil's Canyon, and climbing a long grade to the granite boulders of Top of the World. Turn off right in obvious picnic area, past houses and old diner on left. Follow rough roads back for camping and climbing. No known guidebook. |
