Directions to park: From Prescott, go north west on Iron Springs road. In a few miles from town, turn right on Road #374 to the end of Granite Basin camp ground. For Granite Mountain hike up trail #261 for about an hour to Blair Pass and up switchbacks to 500 foot main wall. Possible the most consistently-sandbagged grades of any climbing area in the world. If you climb 5.10 off the couch elsewhere, get ready to back off of some of Granite Mountain's 5.7's and to pray for deliverance on the 5.8's. |
