Directions to park:

  • Paradise Forks: From Flagstaff go about 25 miles west on I-40. Go south at Garland Prairie Exit for 1.3 miles. Turn left after track onto forest road 141 for 4.7 miles. Turn right on fortest servie 109 for 3.5 miles. Just before white-railed bridge, turn left on to USFS culdesac. Park here and hike east to canyon rim, the climbing is below. World class crack climbing!!!
  • Sycamore Point: Same directions as above but on forest road 109 pass Paradise Forks turn at 3.5 miles. Turn left at White Horse Lake following signs to Sycamore Point on forest service 12 to overview. Park at culdesac and hike along rim to the south west (right) to more solid rock.
  • Boy Scout Canyon: From Flagstaff follwo I-40 west. Turn south on Parks road exit #178. Take forest service 141 south. Turn south on forest servie 527 to Boy Scout Camp. The canyon is south of the Boy Scout Camp. You'll need to ask at for permission at the camp. Basalt columes like Sycamore.
  • Priest Draw: Priest Draw is located off of Lake Mary Rd.. Access Lake Mary Rd. from Flagstaff by heading south on Milton Rd. until just before I-17. Take a right, following signs to Lake Mary Rd.. Turn left onto Lake Mary Rd. and follow it for 6.5 miles. Crossing 2 cattle guards. Turn right .5 miles after the second cattle guard. Follow this road .5 miles past houses until the road turns to dirt. Continue on the dirt road for another 2.5 miles until the road turns left and travels up a short, steep hill. Right before the hill is a dirt road on the right, next to a fence. Turn right onto this road and drive to boulders. Important: Do not drive final dirt road if muddy or covered in snow. Park at the start of the road and walk to bouldering. Do not park on grass or meadows. Only park on the road or obvious, impacted parking spots. Do not drive directly to the base of the Anorexic Roof!!! Park down at the road and walk the extra 100 ft!!! Steep, pocketed limestone bouldering. Arguably the best difficult Bouldering in Northern Arizona and the most beta intensive!
  • Glorias: Gloria's is located on the edge of Flagstaff city limits on National Forest land. Travel north on Highway 180 toward The Grand Canyon. Turn right on W. Forest and follow it past the hospital. Continue on W. Forest until it curves left. Just before W. Forest goes down a steep hill turn left onto Gemini Dr. Follow Gemini Dr. until it ends at Buffalo Park. Walk through the entrance and down a road that travels straight through the park and out the back. Continue on this road until it nears the base of Mt. Elden. Follow trails to rock outcrops at the base of Mt. Elden. Forested bouldering near downtown Flagstaff. Known for difficult, crimpy problems, Glorias' egg shaped boulders are dacite similar to West Elden
  • West Elden: West Elden is located 15 minutes north of Flagstaff. Take Highway 180 north toward The Grand Canyon. Just after the Northern Arizona Museum turn right on Shultz Pass Rd. Follow Shultz Pass Rd. for .5 miles and then turn right onto Elden Lookout Rd. Follow Elden Lookout Rd. for 2.7 miles and park. The rock will be on the right side of the road. Forested bouldering. on egg shaped dacite boulders. Technical slab and steep jug climbing
  • The Overlook: The Overlook is located 10 miles south of Flagstaff along Highway 89A. Just before entering the switchbacks of Oak Creek Canyon, turn left and park at The Oak Creek Overlook. Walk to railed overlook of canyon and traverse left along the cliff top until a small trail travels to the bottom of cliff band. The parking area is gated and locked from 6pm to 8am. Park across the street and walk in to avoid this time constraint. Important: Climbing is illegal on the cliffs below the railed tourist viewing areas. Blocky basalt crack climbing with a breathtaking view of Oak Creek Canyon and Sedona.
